What Do We Mean By GharKaEngineer?
GharKaEngineer is a product cum service by AGC India to construct quality homes using Engineering methods. A house constructed by an Engineer will always have 4 major things at its core.

AGC India’s GharKaEngineer will construct your home considering these four things as major services to be provided. If bridges, highways, malls, multi-storey buildings are constructed by Civil Engineers then why not your home? You surely deserve your GharKaEngineer.

GharKaEngineer as a Product cum Service
We design and construct houses by our qualified personals and monitor the progress, quality and safety measures to handover the project in time. All this process of ours from the design to construction and eventually handing over on time is termed as GharKaEngineer by us. We use technology to achieve the smooth run of this procedure which will be explained further.

How it Works?
To make it clearer to you, we give you a step by step idea of how does your GharKaEngineer work:

STEP 1 Contract Signing
After full and final discussion one of our packages are finalised by the client. The contract signing is done in our office. At the same time booking amount is paid by the client as per project cost and the payment schedule finalised.

STEP 2 Design Work
Our designing team (Architects and Engineers) start the designing work as per client choice. We keep the Vaastu and Structural stability in the mind while designing your home.

STEP 3 SPC (Schedule of Project Completion)
After the design is approved by the client, we provide the SPC (Schedule of Project Completion). The SPC helps us keep track on the progress and timely handing over of the project is done. The SPC has each and every activity of construction with tentative start and completion date. This makes you aware of what and when should be done so that the hassle free handing over is done.

STEP 4 Execution Work
Construction work starts and track of progress is kept with the SPC. Safety, quality and execution as per drawing are maintained. Site is taken care of by our qualified Civil Engineers and visits are paid by our Senior Architects/Engineers to double check the quality and progress of the work.

STEP 5 Documents Maintained
Documentation and construction work go simultaneously. We have got a bundle of documents which are followed religiously in order to run the project smoothly. Documentation also helps evade any confusion on any decision taken between client and contractor. Some of our common documents used are SPC, Construction Checklists, Site Inspection Book, Drawing Folder, Drawing Log, Finishing Schedule etc.

STEP 6 Billing (Running Amount)
A running amount bill is raised and submitted to the client at each step as per payment schedule of the project. Payment is made and recorded at each steps mentioned. This schedule of payment makes the process more transparent. Both client and contractors are saved from the extra burden of arranging big payments at once.

STEP 7 Handover
Handing over is done by rectifying all the snags observed by the client and when complete payment is made except the hold amount. After all the construction work done as per the contract, we raise the final bill. Client makes the final payment including the hold amount and sign the handover document. The project is considered handed over.

How we use technology in this process?
Step 1 to 7 can be achieved by paper documentation and physical site visits. Paper documentation is very tedious for the contractor and physical site visits are a trouble for clients. To solve this, we use technology and make the client aware of what is going on on his/her site. We bring our engineers, supervisors, senior team members (who are associated with the project) and 2 people from client side together on a WhatsApp group. From every day's labour strength to the quality of material procured, everything is posted in the group. Next day's planning and previous day's work done, any decisions like revision in design etc are recorded on the same so as to avoid any conflict in the future. We use emails to share the documents (see STEP 5, 6 above) used in the whole process. As of now it is done on WhatsApp, emails etc. We are working on our GharKaEngineer mobile app which will soon be launched and the process will be more transparent to deliver you your dream home.
